filo has no accounts, no logins, and no database. We do not collect, store, or sell personal data, and there are no ads or third-party trackers.
Your puzzle data
Your progress, play history, and settings are saved in your own browser's local storage, on your device. They are never uploaded to us or to anyone else. Clearing your browser's site data — or deleting the app — erases them permanently, and we hold no copy to restore.
Analytics
The website uses Umami, an open-source analytics tool we run ourselves on our own domain. It is cookieless and anonymous: it records aggregate page views, referrer, country, and broad browser and device type. It sets no cookies, does not fingerprint you, and does not follow you across other sites. Your IP address is used only in passing to derive the country and is not stored. Nothing collected identifies you, and none of it is shared with anyone.
Children
filo is suitable for all ages and collects no personal data from anyone, including children.
Your rights
Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to show, correct, export, or delete. Everything filo has ever stored about your play is on your own device and under your control.
Changes and contact
